Posted in Other - Business & Finance on 05.01.10

Make Extra Now When You Need It! Yup! You need more money. The world’s gone nuts and you need to protect yourself and your family.

Simply – what happened: The fear and the greed have now gripped the world. It was only 3-4 months ago when the sh– hit the fan and the public began their advanced learning on the impact of greed, and the fear that has been increased by the influence of international news media in a 100% globalized planet.

How do I get more money? Education is perhaps one of the safest fields to be in. Teachers are mandatory for education, and if you’re not a teacher – you’ll probably have more risk because you may not be in a secure career field.

Worldwide, people are realizing that they can make from $5.00 to $25.00 on every student, in school from 3rd grade, all the way up to graduate school. How many students are there in your school, in your city, in your state? If the school nearby is a secondary school with 500 kids … how would you like to make over $2,500 by just putting out some flyers.

You can do that! Students want to read faster. How do I know? I was a teacher of reading for 16 years and I’ve asked students, “Do you want to read faster?”

I always got an answer “You bet”, “Sure”, “I want it NOW!” Never in my years of teaching did a student say they didn’t want to learn or they didn’t even want to read.

I developed a “niche market” I started it back in 1977, and specialized it starting in 1979. I researched and found the best methods to read faster, and I wrote several courses and taught them privately, and later in colleges and universities in the US mainland and all the way out to Hawaii. That was fun. Beautiful pristine beaches and beautiful people who wanted to learn how to learn faster and more efficiently.

Many years later I got hurt, and had to have some surgeries and they made things worse – so I had lots of time to get teachers, principals, and writers together and we developed the world’s most complete speed reading courses which are at speedread.org and other sites including speedreadcomplete.com . Dozens of sites exist just to help students learn to read faster, and you can get commissions from lots of them. It’s easy. Just help kids and adults learn to read faster and get better grades.

Every kid, every adult needs to read faster, and with the prices starting at $12.95, it certainly is affordable – and you can have a great income just by helping students and adults double, heck TRIPLE their reading speeds, and finding extra time to enjoy life, or even make more money.

That’s the opportunity open to you and parents in all schools. Simply help others to learn to learn better, and there is no teaching involved. If you need money, it’s not that difficult — just think outside of the box, and you’ll find lots of opportunities and lots of commission checks coming in every single month.

What financial crisis? Earn extra money helping children learn to study faster online. Earn Big Commissions! Triple studying Speed and get better grades. Triple studying Speed Visit the Uber Article Directory to get a totally unique version of this article for reprint.

Cheap Transportation for College Students

Posted in Finance on 04.06.09

Once young people make the transition to college, they want to be able to get around so that they can explore and enjoy their new found freedom. During an economy crisis, parents may be weary and concerned about how they can help their college student with their transportation needs without it costing the family an exorbitant amount of money. Here are three great and cheap ways that everyone can get what they want…students can get around and parents can keep some of their hard earned cash in their wallets:

Bus it! Using public transportation is one way that many people are able to get around without the expense of maintaining a vehicle. This economy crisis and the high gas costs have made it more feasible for people to use buses, subways, and trains more often. Students usually qualify for low price tickets or special pricing for monthly passes for unlimited riding. Students can buy for cheap a bus or transit pass as they learn the different routes to meet their own personal travel needs.

Always encourage them to use school provided transportation when available. Many colleges and universities will offer students free transportation to popular local venues. The cost is often incorporated into their university fees. This can be a great benefit for students that need to go to places within walking distance of the various university bus stops. Not only is this a chance for frugal students to get around and save, but it is also a safe alternative that parents can appreciate.

Encourage your frugal student to create a carpool or ride share program at their school. It’s fairly easy to set up and would allow for everyone involved to save money and still do their local travel around town. These types of ride share programs work great for students that don’t have any other transportation access and for students that work at common places like malls or city centers.

The way that a ride share program would work is that those who have a vehicle would charge a small fee for others to ride along to these places. The fee could cover the cost of gas and possibly insurance for the students. Students without vehicles benefit because they can buy for cheap rides all over the place, and their parents don’t have to worry about paying high insurance bills or keeping their gas tanks full.

Set a gas budget for students with vehicles. If your college student just has to have his or her own wheels, then, it is best to set a budget for their gas expense. This will help them to learn to manage their time and resources. When students understand that they can only spend a certain amount of money, which parents can regulate by providing students with a gas card or prepaid credit card, they will limit unnecessary travel.

One of the best things that you can ever teach your college student is how to practice money saving, cost-consciousness, and careful spending. Tell him or her to buy for cheap their gas so that they can stretch their budget and still have gas to get to all of the places that they want to go. College is about learning to be a responsible adult. Finding ways to save and still enjoy life are a big part of that. When it comes to your college student, help them to become the frugal fashionista that they need to be to take care of their transportation needs by researching and spending wisely during the economy crisis, and for the rest of their lives!

Got a WAHM Plan?

Posted in Finance on 04.06.09

Wanabe Work-At-Home Moms (WAHMs) need to plan their work and then work their plans. There’s no way you can just start writing stuff at your computer an instantly become successful if you don’t.

I worked at odd-jobs after I retired at sixty two to supplement my Social Security check. Getting by was nearly impossible on such a limited income and eventually even the part-time employment disappeared. Oddly, employers prefer young people who will work for less. Gradually, I found out that having an online business was my only way out.

Lucky for me, it all played out that way. I continue to add to my business all the time even though I know very little about technology. My system’s technology is there silently working in the background all the time making money for me. And you know what? My age or gender have nothing to do with it.

I’d imagine if you’re a typical mom you’d be searching for a job or business that suits your particular situation, right? Do you use your computer in your search? Most moms use their computers to surf, email or to shop online. They miss the fact that the solution to their work problem is lying right there under their finger tips. Their computer.

Have you been thinking about what kind of business you could start from home? As a mom you have interests, hobbies and passions. You may have business expertise, too. You all have knowledge that others do not. It’s in your genes to be communicators.

What do you do when your child is having a school problem? You get the answer and help him. When your home needs a paint job you ask your friends and neighbors who did a good job for them and who they’d recommend.

So, what’s this got to do with becoming a WAHM (Work At Home Mom)? Ask yourself if you use the Internet, what for and how do you search for the information.

Exactly! You use a search engine like Yahoo, Google, AOL, etc. People use the Internet to find information and solutions. When they find a site that provides what they are looking for, they stay for a while. So what does this mean? I want you to think of just one thing that YOU really enjoy doing.

Let’s say you are crazy about scrap booking. Did you know that you could build a fantastic website based on that theme? You could write about all your ideas on the subject and share it with others. Now ask yourself, what are just three things that are related to scrap booking.

1. The materials

2. special scissors

3. The special way that your assemble them all

You build pages around these scrap booking topics and several others. Now assume a lady is surfing the Internet looking for information on scrap booking. She does a Google search for a new way of assembling photos. On the results page she scans the descriptions and finds one that is likely to answer her question. She clicks on it. Its your site.

Your copy is concise, friendly and upbeat. The lady finds it easy to understand and it meets her every need. She feels good about herself in her accomplished search and is relaxed enough about it to visit your site every once in a while because she knows it’s where she can find everything she wants to know about scrap booking. Later she returns and purchases a pair of those special scissors you have for sale. Now, do you understand why I asked you to consider one thing that you’re passionate about doing? That’s a website waiting to happen.

Now I know you are very busy because all Moms are. But that is the beauty of building an online business. You can chip away at it as you have time. The thing to remember is each time you work on your web site, you’re growing your business.

I highly encourage all you Moms out there to consider an online business because it can satisfy all your needs; time, money and kids.

Creative Ways To Get Cheap Or FREE Clothes When Your Kids Go Back To School

Posted in Finance on 02.06.09

Summer goes almost as quickly as it comes. The end of those long, hot days of fun signifies the start of the upcoming school year. That’s when parents, teachers, and kids start preparing for the “back to school” season! But, during an economy crisis, such as we are in, people are a little concerned about how far their hard earned money will stretch this year. Truth is, there are plenty of ways for families for get FREE back to school clothes or to buy for cheap any clothes that the kids will need to make a fashion statement this school year without making a bad statement on your bank account. Here’s how:

Organize a clothing swap. For teenagers, especially, you can create a party dedicated specifically to fun and fashion. Get a large group of parents together and secure a large free space, such as a church basement or community center. Each parent commits to providing a low cost snack or drink, and make sure to have “shopping bags”. Have parent and teens bring their clothes that are too small or that they are just ready to let go. The key to making the event go over is for everyone to bring clothes in good condition, making sure that they are ironed, laundered, and on hangers. Organize the clothing by size and gender. You could even offer a small bin for clothes that “need help”, which families may be able to use as the base of sewing projects. Then, invite the kids, play some funky music, watch them snack and shop… all for the cost of a little snack! Every family will benefit from the free clothes and the event will be a blast for the kids.

Make the most of consignment. Take all of those clothes that your kids can no longer fit or that they never had a chance to wear to your local consignment shop. These wonderful shops will purchase your slightly used clothing from you. You can expect to get paid 30-50% of the price that they will be selling your stuff for. Then, after you get your money, you can buy some of the cool stuff that they have there. Expect to find high quality, top name brands for up to 85% off of the regular retail price. Use the money they give you for your old stuff and you will be getting a whole new wardrobe for FREE!

Work the off -season sales! Buy for summer in the late fall and for winter in the early spring. By following this simple formula, you will be able to buy for cheap any and everything that you will need. From shoes to sweaters, flip-flops to swimsuits, when you buy off season, you can expect to save upwards of 90% off of the regular retail price. When you find a really good deal, buy in abundance, and have great stuff for the kids as they grow.

Malls don’t always offer the best ways for saving, cost-cutting, or opportunities to buy for cheap. During this economy crisis, you may need to try other places and ways for buying those back to school clothes that your kids will need. Creativity and a little planning could take your dollars a long way!

Posted in Other - Business & Finance on 02.06.09

Contrary to popular belief, it is really the media with all their messages of of negativity that are the greatest obstacle to overcome at the moment. They are at least making the economic situation a lot worse than it needs to be.

All the talk of falling profits and cutbacks is making business owners wary and forcing them to lower their goals.

As is unavoidable in a recession, some companies fail, unfortunate though it is. There will however always be companies that do well and these will be the ones that don’t let themselves get tied up in the media’s negativity and that keep a positive outlook.

To continue growing during tough times, the key is to think positively, if you don’t think success is a possibility, then its decided there and then. Thinking as if it WILL happen can improve results significantly.

Getting someone on board who is a highly experienced sales and marketing coach will also help massively.

The right person to get on board will someone with ample experience, enough so that they have dealt with several economic downturns in the past and know the best ways to steer through it.

A positive outlook to have it that the economic downturn can present opportunities in that other companies may well buy into the negative press and stop making proactive marketing moves, which of course provides opportunity for someone else to fill the gap they’ve left.

Fear of the economic state is likely to unwind the marketing strategies of many companies, which will have a drastic effect on the new opportunities they can take up. They may have been able to avoid this situation by having a positive outlook from the start.
